⚠ DWR Advisory
As of August 2025, Anderson and Phinney Lakes as well as Fall Creek to the confluence of Rock Creek have been treated to remove brook trout and restore native Colorado river cutthroat trout. This treatment only effects these three bodies of water in the Basin. All other areas are open to fishing and have been fishing well this summer. Restocking of Anderson and Phinney Lakes will occur in the Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027. For more information on this restoration project please call the Vernal UDWR office 435-781-9453
